CX Genie Version 2.9.1: Enhancing your CX Genie experience

We're thrilled to present the newest release of CX Genie, version 2.9.1, loaded with improvements and fixes aimed at making your customer support experience smoother.

New feature

Live Chat

Adjusted unread message logic: We've refined the logic to accurately display unread messages. Unread messages will now be shown when there hasn't been a bot reply or when members haven't clicked to view the conversation.

Display bots in conversation's PIC list: Easily identify bot participation in conversations with this new feature. Bots will now be displayed in the "Person In Charge" (PIC) list of the conversation, indicating which bot has participated in replying.

Added tooltip when hovering over search message icon: To enhance user experience, we've added a tooltip when hovering over the search message icon in live chat or tickets. This will help users better understand the function of the icon and utilize the search message feature more effectively.

Ticket Management

Improved ticket searching: We've added a loading indicator when searching for tickets in the ticket management section. This will help you know that your search is in progress and make the experience smoother.

Subscription Management

Delete default payment method: You can now delete your default payment method from your subscription settings. This gives you more control over your payment options and ensures flexibility in managing your subscription.

Bug Fixes

Messenger Integration

  • Addressed the issue where adding a Facebook page failed, even if it hadn't been previously added to CX Genie.
  • Fixed the problem where Facebook messages didn't update the last message in the conversation list.
  • Corrected the Auto-reply feature, ensuring it functions correctly for conversations originating from Facebook pages.

Chat

  • Fixed the issue where suggestions failed to appear despite enabling auto-suggest and disabling auto-reply.
  • Resolved the issue where quoting a message in one conversation and then switching to another still displayed the quoted message from the previous conversation.
  • Corrected image display errors when sharing links.
  • Fixed the issue where the last message in the conversation was unsent but still appeared in the chat list.

Ticket Management

  • Resolved the issue of continuous loading when filtering tickets without specifying priority.
  • Fixed the problem where messages were not displaying within tickets.

Bot

  • Articles can now be scrolled to view content as intended.

Working Hours

  • Resolved the issue where the Working Hours feature was not functioning.
